Let's Hear it for the K-kids.

Somewhere in the blur of the past few weeks of Bear Fest prep, scooping all over town during the big event, and the post Fest steady stream of bear peepers, as I like to call them, another field trip season has come and gone. I think a few kindergarden and 1st/2nd grade classes this year opted for the bear tour, which is great (from what the teachers have said, it's pretty much all the kiddos have talked about since the bears arrived), but we did have a few here. Above is the Maple School kindergarden class, aka. K-kids.

Who just so happened to be the 'artists' of Jelly Bean bear, the tabletop bear that's right here at Mt. Tom's for the summer...

Nicely done. The silent auction bidding is already up to $150 on this bear!

One of my favorite parts of field trips is the cool thank you cards that often get delivered to the shop a few days later...

Here's a closer look...

The best line... 'We had infinity and beyond fun.' K-kids rock.

Here are a few other random candids from the field trips. It's all about the hats... and the sample right out of the machine...

Happy summer vacation to you. Rumor has it summerlike weather is just a few days away...
